Who we are
Media and Public Affairs provides public and corporate affairs advisory services to business and industry, from Melbourne, Victoria. This policy covers this website only.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we collect what you type into it: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the type of enquiry you select, and your message.
We do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not ask for sensitive information. Please do not send anything confidential through a web form.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer your enquiry, and to follow up on it if we are working together. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry.
Where it goes
The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this website. Submissions are stored in the Netlify account for this site and emailed to us. Netlify is a US company, so your enquiry is processed overseas.
The text and images on this site are stored in Sanity, a content management system. Sanity holds no information about you as a visitor.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files, including your IP address.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we have a reason to - to answer you, to carry out work you engage us for, and to meet any record-keeping we are obliged to. After that we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@mediaaffairs.com.au and we will action it.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
